Jason Fine at Rolling Stone asked me to work on a Johnny Cash book while I was at SpotCo. Cash had just passed away and the family wanted to create a loving tribute. I'd worked on other books like this while at Rolling Stone, and am a huge Cash fan, so the designers at SpotCo embraced the challenge.
